Festival Soloists: Susan Consoli
Soprano – Andover, MA
Susan enjoys an active career in oratorio, opera and recital. She has worked with such notable directors such as Christopher Hogwood, Grant Llewellyn, Laurence Cummings, Emmanuelle Haïm, John Harbison, John Finney and Tom Hall.
She made her European debut throughout Germany in 2006 with Boston Camerata in collaboration with the Tero Saarinen Dance Company in performances of Borrowed Light, and is looking forward to upcoming performances in New Zealand, Australia and Asia. Susan can be heard on the Handel & Haydn Society recording of All is Bright for Avie Records. She performs regularly with Emmanuel Music (Boston) under founding director Craig Smith, and she is a member of the voice faculty of Phillips Academy of Andover.
Susan is pleased to be returning with her husband and fellow festival musician, Ryan Turner, for her fourth season with the Carmel Bach Festival.
